🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4 normal humans or 2 hungry legends)
Pasta & Veg
- 3 types of pasta (penne, fusilli, farfalle etc.)
- 1 large broccoli, cut into florets
Bechamel Sauce
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 700 ml milk
- 100 ml cream
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Nutmeg
Finish
- Freshly grated Parmesan
👨🍳 Dad Execution Plan
1️⃣ Start with the sauce
Melt butter.
Add flour → stir 1–2 minutes (no browning).
Slowly add milk while whisking.
Cook until thick and smooth.
Add cream.
Season with salt, pepper, nutmeg.
Goal: creamy. Not cement.
2️⃣ Cook the pasta
Boil salted water.
Cook all three pasta types together.
3️⃣ Broccoli goes in late
Add broccoli during the last 3–4 minutes.
Drain.
Broccoli = green excuse.
4️⃣ Combine & dominate
Mix pasta + broccoli into the sauce.
Top with generous Parmesan.
Optional: bake 10 minutes for extra crust.
